VistA EHR has been used since 1997 by the VA system at its 1500 clinics and 150 hospitals. It was released via the Freedom of Information Act as open source (free) software. Twin Cities EMR Consulting has nine years of EHR installation, training, customization, and support experience. We are also certified resellers of Dragon Medical speech recognition software, and have trained over 300 clinicians. In March 2011, we will be installing our first EHR pilot sites in the Minneapolis area. Our "VistA Medical Office EHR" will be designed specifically for small to mid-sized medical offices that cannot afford the high cost of most EHRs being offered today. VistA is CCHIT 2007 certified and the WorldVistA organization is working diligently to meet ONC certification. We are active WorldVistA members and contributors.
VistA is being used at VA facilities for all specialties.
