Ease of use, flexibility and scalability are the hallmarks of our product line. A recent IDC market analysis reported:
“The advantage that docSTAR offers is its willingness to sell its products to its customers the way the customers' want. What this means is that out-of-the-box, customers can add whatever modules they desire and the docSTAR applications can also accept content from third party applications, such as Verity, etc. In addition, docSTAR allows users to get up and running very quickly. The docStar product line is comprised of three platforms:
1. docSTAR CP the appliance solution for Multi Function Printers (MFP)
2. docSTAR EP the entry level solution for companies with less than 10 users
3. docSTAR SP the departmental solution for up to fifteen users
4. docSTAR SPX the enterprise wide solution for greater than fifteen users

Our FY2007 initiatives resulted in making the docSTAR brand dominant in the Independent Insurance Agency and Healthcare vertical market, specifically agencies/practices with 5-99 employees. We characterize this market’s document management adoption profile to be initial part of the early majority phase. Key drivers of this adoption are:
a. commission cost pressures demand efficiencies
b. workflow and process consultants are educating on the benefits of document management
c. compliance with regulatory bodies
d. E&O carriers are increasingly scrutinizing record retention policies as part of their audits
