July 28, 2011 -news release- DrFirst, ChartLogic’s preferred e-prescribing partner, has achieved Surescripts Gold Solution Provider status for Rcopia for the fifth year running. Founded in 2000, DrFirst creates innovative services targeted to physicians in both ambulatory and acute care environments.
According to the press release, “Gold certification is awarded only to those health IT software companies which go beyond baseline product compliance in terms of quality, safety and efficiency in the e-prescribing process.” DrFirst’s commitment to interoperability, customer support, and successful customer implementations has set it apart as one of only seven e-prescribing companies to be given this honor this year.
There are several criteria that must be met in order to achieve Gold Solution Certification, including the following:
